Around the table we use a practice called Wild Writing: a writing style of bringing pen to paper, writing quickly, and opening up.  I'll read a piece of prose for inspiration and you'll get out of your own way.  Together we'll keep the pen moving to let the work flow.

Around the table is a chance to come together in a supportive community to be inspired,  write quickly and share the ideas of the week.

We'll read our work aloud without commentary and you'll grow as a writer, a story teller and a person.  Around the table is a relaxed and inspiring environment to learn skills, practice new techniques and develop as writers, together.

I'll read a poem twice, give you a jumping off line and you'll write as fast as you can for 12-15 minutes.  We'll do this 3 times, and you'll be amazed at what happens in 2 hours.

No previous writing experience necessary,
